Conference Language
English will be the official language of the 2nd World Conference of Women’s Shelters, with translations into other languages based on need and available funding. While we will make every effort to provide the conference information and materials in languages other than English, the majority of the conference sessions and materials will be in American English.
The conference website will be in English, French, and Spanish. Certain pages will be in additional languages, with the language and number of pages translated depending on our bilingual volunteers.
During the conference, we hope to provide simultaneous translations of the general session (main session) and a few workshop sessions (from English into the two most requested languages). We will update the conference agenda on our website to indicate which sessions will be translated when that information is available.
