Michaelia Cash was sworn in as the Minister for Women, Minister for Employment, and also the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service on 21 September 2015. Until September 2015 she was the Assistant Minister for Immigration & Border Protection and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Women. Michaelia Cash was first elected to the Senate for Western Australia in 2007. Senator Cash has an Honours Degree in Law, which she received from the University of London, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a triple major in public relations, politics and journalism from Curtin University in Western Australia. Senator Cash also has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Western Australia.
